    Hi Dimerty,

    Thank you for you support in all aspects of LR.

    My Question is on LR check points.

    - How much we can relay on these LR check points. i have prepared a script in LR and i used text check point using the funcation web_reg_find("Text=Titlement Summary",) function. i sued thie check oint to pass my transaction if it finds the text on the web page. But here i have problem when prepare the script and run the same was worked as expected. But, after few days when i run the same script it failes to find the TEXT. where as when i check it manually in the application the same TEXT exists.

    to over come this i re-created the script and put the same check points. then it wokred well.

    So, here my question what was the problem here with my old script?. please share you expeience on these check points usease.

    Hello Dimitry,
    That's a great blog you have found! I'll definitely review as much of your posts as I will be able in the short time.
    However, I’m pretty new for Load Runner tool as well as Performance Testing industry overall. Therefore, my question would be: "Do you have any LR tutorials (written by you or any other experienced person) but more of introductions and medium-level knowledge standpoint?"

    There is not such possibility.
    You should plan your test carefully and set a required initial number of users.
    Also, you can use Goal-oriented scenario. It allows automatically find the number of users depending on different conditions.

    I publish and share here all own materials. So, you can get all I have :)
    As for initial knowledge on LR, I recommend to start from Tutorial.pdf, located in 'LoadRunner\tutorial\' folder. It provides basic knowledge on LR and its features.

    Hi Dmitry, thanks for publishing so much knowledge of Loadrunner and asking for so little in return. I was wondering: in your response to Chicagorider, you referred to LoadRunner\tutorial\tutorial.pdf. Is that available somewhere on your blog or is it part of the LoadRunner install tree on Windows?

    @Frank A. Smith,
    "LoadRunner\tutorial\tutorial.pdf" is a path located inside of the folder where LoadRunner was installed.
    Installed LoadRunner contains Tutorial and several Help files.

    hi Dimtry..

    My question is about scripting of voicexml files in Load runner.

    I want to test an Interactive voice Response(IVR) system using load runner.And in IVR, voicexml files are used.Moreover we cannot record the user action in load runner since there is no user interface for IVR, therefore the scripting has to be done manually.

    Can u just help me with this problem?????, anything u have, kindly share.

    I'm having "Code generation failed" message after recording a webservices application that use GLUE6. I'm only able to record soap calls using GLUE5. Have you any idea? Thanks a lot. Regards, Alciam

    Hi Dimerty:

    I am a beginner to loadrunner.

    Since duration time will overwrite the number of iterations, how to run only by number of iterations in load controller?

    E.g. 10 vusers and 10 iterations.
    Not 10 vusers, 5 mins duration.

    First of all excellent work done for sharing such a worthy knowledge. I am working as an automation script builder. Now a days i'm doing some R&D on LR scripts generation, the problem i m facing is regarding infragistic controls they are not properly recorded with .net plug in specially the grids, any helping material u recommend....

    Hi Dmitry,

    Your video tutorials are exceptionally good and helpful.
    My query is if we have a drop down box on a web page in a web application and the contents of the drop down changes with the login id used to login. then how do we capture all the posible combinations in the script?

    Can you please share your experience on how this can be resolved.
