iam a beginner to QTP.i had an issue when i was learning the concept DIVIDING ACTIONS..i made a call to copy of exisiting action(FlightOrder example)from a new test.but it didnot reflect on the test..but when i made call to existing action from the same test.it reflected..what might be the reason..can u pl help me...should i check my settings..also can u pl suggest a perfect tutorial which holds all topics of qtp.thanks in advance..

The best tutorial about QTP is HTP Help. It is shipped with QTP installation.

the issue i had is with "CALL TO COPY OF EXISTING ACTION"..
generally when we use this option we can see a copy of the called one in the keyword view..right...it didnot happen to me when i used the option..no copy was created...what might be the reason...hope u got my doubt...

in the qtp artcles you mentioned that "micclass" here 'mic' stand for 'mercury interactive constant' but my friend told me that 'mic' stand for 'microsoft'

I think your friend is wrong...
'Microsoft' is usually shorten as 'MS'. For example, MS-DOS (not MIC-DOS).
MIC = Mercury Interactive Constant (or Class).

I am question regarding QTP.

I have Applet Application.I tried Recording it through QTP using WEb and Java Addin.But its not recording each transaction And fails record the newly populated Dialog.

Will i able to record applet Application using QTP?

Thank you these videos are very helpful. I've looked at other qtp tutorials online and this was the best. Have you done any video streaming testing. Just basic stuff to see if you can click on a video to play or pause? If not, do you think its possible with using QTP?
