Dear Dima, you are genius. You can explain difficult for us topics so simple and we began to understand that it was not rock indeed. You are real TEACHER, not, real GURU. I am very happy that I found your blog and now it is my favorite site. Thanks a lot. Ludmila.

2Ludmila:
I perfectly understand that I'm not a QTP guru... And I'm not a QTP teacher. I don't have QTP certification even :)

All I did is I read QTP Help files.
Believe me, QTP Help is extremely useful and informative.

i'm having problem "How to get the Text/Data present on security tag.Because it's identified as image.I'm unable to get the data present on image.Hope you understand my problem.

Dmitry Motevich said...

I think, you dealt with a CAPTCHA.
There is a special protection against a spam. There is no 100% solution.
I can suggest to OCR software to capture the text on image.

Same is the case for inserting checkpoint. It simply throwing error message saying that "Cannot create checkpoint" and "Can't identify the web element." Please help me...

Dmitry Motevich said...

You should understand that I've never seen your application, I've never worked with it.

Hi Dimtry,

I am using the URL "http://206.72.242.4/ilrn/"
and recorded the action of clicking the 'create an account' button and stops the recording. When I try to insert the check point or use the test output value, the system is throwing the error, that I have mentioned in my previous querry. Please let me know if any more information is needed.

Hi Dimitry,
Great tutorials.
I am looking for an example that shows how to measure the time of page loads and couldn't find a good tutorial on that.
I currently use the sync option but is there an overall best practice for waiting for transactions to complete for timing purposes? What about none web base applications?

Thanks,
A

Dear Dmitry,
Thankyou for your motivating videos.

I have a question from this video.

I have created the text out put into a data table as you demonstrated.

And run the test sucesssfully.

Now, I want to edit the text before (10). I want this to be dynamic too. How to edit my test to acheive this?

Thanks in Advance
